arc warden with rapier

I was wondering if it was possible to disallow making rapier with arc warden. Because of his ult, he's able to use them without actually coming out of his base and risking to die, which is pretty much going completely opposite to what rapier is supposed to represent (a risky gamble). He was made unable to copy rapier for his clone in dota 2 soon after being added for that reason, but dota 1 never got to that. As it is, long games against arc pretty much always ends in a default win for his side once he gets his core items and a rapier (or 2 or 3).

No, a strategy is a strategy. The behavior of the ulti is as expected for dota1, not a bug. Also that strategy is absolutely beatable and not OP. Not to mention taking tens of thousands of gold before it even starts up.

I didn't claim it was a bug or unbeatable, don't put words in my mouth. Nothing ever had to become unbeatable before getting fixed, so why even mention it? It's definitely overpowered though. It's em, buying rapier is mostly limited by the risk, not the affordability. Considering he always starts with midas and gets extra uses of it, any game that's not completely one sided should come to the point where arc can start making rapiers. No one else is able to carry rapiers and go on suicide pushes with them over and over without risking the items or hero. Unless the other team already has a huge advantage, those games are extremely hard to deal with. Ultimately it's an oversight by the maker, which would have eventually been fixed if the map continued getting updated.
