Why you should be unbanned: the person who was vkicked was ruining the game. there were 2 leavers at that point from his team and one from our team and he refused to draw. then he started game ruining and after 10 mins refused to draw or ff when it was clear the game was over. delayed the end of the game by another 15 mins. he was kicked so scourge could ff.

What was he doing that you thought qualified as game ruining?

refusing to draw when someone dropped 12 seconds in, going afk for periods of a time, refusing to ff when the game was over as scourge stopped playing trying to ff/draw. we took top 2 and mid 2 towers within 10 mins while everyone was trying to draw and he refused. then when scourge tried to ff when the game was way out of hand and we were already raxing he refused. the game was unbalanced/ruined within the first few mins. it was a complete waste of time to drag it out 15 mins. we should've drawn and started a new game from the getgo but he was the deciding vote on for both draw and ff and refused to do either.

Refusing to draw is not violating any rule.
He was never afk.

I was going off of what his teammates were telling me, I was on the other team. From my perspective it looked like he stopped taking the game seriously, was arguing with Tipiuf and was refusing to vote to end the game. For future reference, is refusing to ff when the team stops playing and is trying to ff a rule violation? And thanks for reviewing so quickly.

There is no requirement to ff or draw. What happened in this game is after the one guy left, two of the players decided not to play and sat at the fountain flaming, votekicking, and feeding couriers. Morphling and terrorblade tried to play the game, and morphling was the one that was kicked.

Well, but it doesnt end there. The purpose of bans is to educate not punish (in most cases), so if you can review the rules pertaining to votekicks Im happy to unban you.

The point I was missing was this one. We kicked him for not forfeiting/drawing when in reality he was right in trying to play through.
"Giving up before the team has forfeited. If only 3 players have forfeited, but not the required 4, you must continue to play and try to win. Sabotaging your team’s chances of winning in order to more quickly lose the game may warrant punishment per DIHL Mod discretion."

However, it is confusing because up above it states this:
"If a player disconnects before 15 min, the game must be drawn (using !draw). After 15 min, the players are allowed to vote (also using !draw)."

When in doubt I'll refer to the first one of playing through no matter what and be more questioning of the reasons if initiated by the other team.

The rules you pasted only apply in the DIHL ( Dota In-house League ), and only DIHL.

ENT's general and game specific rules are the ones public players should follow. Please take another look.
