Re: rangeban
Hello bratze,
Looks like you were caught in a rangeban. To get this sorted out, I'd appreciate it if you would answer the questions below:
Provide a list of all your previous accounts you've used on ENT.
What games do you play on ENT?
When was the last time you played on ENT?
Please answer these questions in full. Thank you in advance.
Re: rangeban
Provide a list of all your previous accounts you've used on ENT.
I used many different accounts during the past years. Probably the following list is not complete.
- Bratzbock
- Bratze
- Arschqualen
- Schringo
- HansaPils
- IliasDoll
and just for a few games recently:
- Uschi
- Klausi
What games do you play on ENT?
- Legion TD
When was the last time you played on ENT?
- last week
Additional thoughts:
That rangeban system is getting out of hand. If you read my ban appeal history, you see that i got caught by range bans the 4th(!) time allready. One time we wanted to play LTD at a LAN party, got a random range ban and ENT admins only whitelistet a single account (a bad joke). Last week i wanted to start playing LTD again after a pretty long break and could not play with my mate Jatzen54, because he was range banned. One week later i get range banned. I dont have the time to play regularly anymore and ban appeal processing takes several ours or days. So yes, its annoying as hell when i plan to spend an evening playing good old LTD with some friends and every time someone is range banned.
Its a shame, because ENT got the only decent playerbase left for some higher skill LTD. So we got no choice but playing on ENT servers.
I really hope you change your banning system in the future. Its just too much efford needed to play a single game with friends to be worth it.

Re: rangeban
I find it hard to believe that it's a coincidence that it's your group of friends that keeps having to deal with rangebans. The amount of appeals we have to deal for rangebans versus the amount that are from your group is interesting to say the least. That said, I'll look into it.

@bratze
Why does it look like the IP that you got the range-ban notice on is not your home IP? At the very least, it isn't the IP which you normally play on. Furthermore, you went on to play the exact same day on a separate IP without issue, until you got autobanned. Something is being left out here clearly.

Re: rangeban
Hi, the IP I got the range ban notice on is my home ip. Don't know why you think it isn't. I played via VPN tunnel that day, because without it clearly wasn't possible. Unluckily the VPN wasn't stable and I disconnected.
Edit: if you refer to the arschqualen account concerning my home ip, it's not my account anymore. A mate is using it. As I mentioned earlier, I had a pretty long legion td break.

Re: rangeban
@Bratze
You do realize that it is against ENT Gaming rules to use a VPN to hide your IP?
This alone would be grounds enough to deny this appeal.
Please visit our wiki and copy-paste the rules you've broken with regards to what I've noted above.
Do note, failure to complete this will likely result in your appeal being denied.
