Carterman wrote:To me is looks like blue is mhing. The first shot would have hit pink if pink had not stopped moving. Then dodging 2 shots, which is possible. Then blue's second shot looks like it would have hit if not for the logs being there. Then even his third and fourth shot almost hit. All these shot with no vision and almost hitting. The first with no idea that they are even there. The second round is even stranger. He starts off on high ground then retreats to lower ground. While on lower ground he hits the enemies and unfreezes his partner several times. And with only a ping to tell you were your partner got frozen, it aint to much help. Tested it myself. He obviously aint pro he keeps trying to shoot through the logs. And if no logs they would have been close to hitting the enemies. Then after blues team freezes darg green he shoots right toward pink who he had no vision of. Like stated in a previous post, blue looks like he is playing with reds vision. The third round he stops for a bit. Prolly seeing they are coming up the middle. When they get closer he backs off. Then gets a lucky shot. But looking at this, this is the only round that blue and his teammate do not go to a hill. What is also strange it seems blue waits to see where the other team is going. He always decides after the other team does. 2 to the bottom left hill, once in the middle, 2 to the right top hill. Just some of my observations. You can say it aint mh, but to me it looks otherwise.

Agree :)

With no clicks, there is nothing that can be done. Clicks are what we base the bans on a majority of the time. I agree that it looks suspicious, but if we banned on just that I would have banned 100s of Tree Tag players back when it was active.

I've played freeze tag, many times. Sometimes people get scary lucky. I know I've gotten random doubles firing blind, and have had games where I almost always hit first shot. Then I have the games where I can't hit the broad side of a building. Its either a "noob" (shooting at logs = noob) with dumb luck, or a "noob" with maphack. With no proof of the latter except for circumstantial evidence and suspicious activity there cannot be a ban.

Yes there is, delayed fogclicks are the most common type. and they're a glitch

Just open up any replay with the fogclick detector. Most of the fogclicks you get will be delayed.

Some map hacks don't allow to fog click. Some players don't fog click even if is allowed.
Without fog click can check the game play.
Usually people ban with fog clicks can is simple and don't require the analize of the game play (consume a lot of time).
Fog click is easy (yes or no, delayed or not, glitched or not). With replay need to watch a lot of times and know the map.

In freeze tags sometimes people have luck. That game goes way beyond luck. Has arround 4 minutes and has more "luck" then all my games together.

Actualy who use map hack that allow to click in units in side the fow, are not a delayed fog click. It can be considerer a delayed fog click, but they can click all the time so is not a real delayed fog click (result of delay,etc.).

Delayed Fog clicks can happen with anyone. Usually people accused of map hack have most of his fog clicks checked, including the ones which may be considered as delayed fog clicks.

We do assert bans when no clicks are found. But the evidence we build prior banning without fog clicks is rock solid.

For this game of Freeze Tag, if anyone wishes to ban any suspect, draw out at least 5 last played games and build a similarity in his or her games.

Banning base on 1 game is absurd. Assuming the player got real lucky and won the game, he would also win himself a 1 year ban?

Note - Map Hackers develop a hard habit. There are repeated actions and reactions in all their game play because these are based on a common Global Vision. This habit is call evasion. And when they evade, there's no way they can accumulate multiple deaths. They will get high kills but not always a high win rate if the game is based on Team work.

I looked at the replay, the only suspicious part is at the beginning where he turns around, and that could have just been luck. Something like that is bound to happen every now and then in thousands of games.
