Cannot join bad word named games.. why?

I've had this issue for a while now, I've noticed that most Battlenet games where players pub their games with swear words are unable to be joined.

Example: 'Revenge of the Niggers' or people putting 'Join you fucks' and stuff as their title.

I saw a map I wanted to play, but the host called it something like 'ERAS - Zombie Sluts' but I couldn't join.. yet as I refreshed, the lobby was filling so quick, that I missed it in the next 5 minutes.

So why does this swear filter apply to me? How do I get rid of it? This happens on MMH and ENT.

The general message that the lobby doesn't exist.

Are you sure you've typed the game names correctly? I've never heard of such filter so I have a hard time believing that's actually the case.

B.net censors those words in game names. Swear words will be replaced by symbols (i.e. "fuck" could become "&%?#") and will appear as such in the games list. This isn't reflected by f list indications, which will give you the original game name. It's just not very convenient. What makes this so important that you've been wondering about it for nearly a month?

The fact that MMH / ENT games list is right there and I cannot join it when I want to play.. ? :f


Alright so people join it by finding it in the game itself, via the Custom Game List, interesting.
