Re: This is the End
Seriously what the fuck was this patch.... They literally gave us nothing we wanted, and everything we didn't ask for....
I hate the new fixed aspect ratio, not letting us have full screen is a disaster. And the new additions seem stupid and more complicated than anything. It would be sad, but this really might be it for Dota 1. My whole clan was logged in today raging about it, damn shame.

Lol my computer died like 2 days ago and I was kinda mad but, now that I see my boys at Blizzard taking care of business...
Re: This is the End
The patch is supposed to add real 1920x1080 (not the stretched out blurry garbage "full screen" most people use right now), but as always they fucked it up on release. Give them some time to make it work properly.
They're going to change the way crits work in regular wc3 by the way, I don't know if it'll affect custom maps.

May as well remove the neutral camps now also. no point, No gold or XP anymore.. What a stupid change. Who would have thought that was a smart idea.

Pretty sure b.net will fix that stuff shortly. It happened last time, salves and urns weren't working, then it got fixed without having to edit the map.
Seriously, I can't get over how people loved their "full screen" from before this patch. I feel personally insulted that people can't tell the difference between stretched out filled screen and real full screen support. I don't even know how or why it offends me so much.

They are just used to it. I remember when I moved on to wide screen how stretched out it felt, was super weird. Now this is weird since I haven't played on a square display in so long. Overall it's good, except for some things.
Bnet should have extended the display support to the forum and custom game window and such.
Also I think they should have probably moved the minimap all the way to the corner, and the spells and such, instead of leaving that area blank. But I think it's also something easy to get used to.
Vipassana: to see things as they really are. This meditation was rediscovered by Buddha more than 2500 years ago and was taught by him as a universal remedy for universal ills. This technique aims for the total eradication of mental impurities and the resultant highest happiness of full liberation
