I think that separating the Map Development and Warcraft 3 subforums doesn't make sense.
If anything, the Warcraft 3 subforums should just be a fourth subforum under the Map Development Subforum, something like General maybe? But I would be fine if it was just placed in the Uncategorized part.
I think splitting it into two pieces is just confusing and can make duplicate threads a lot more likely.

Re: Forums combining
Map development and Warcraft III are separate in the sense that one addresses concerns about the map/hold information to recent/upcoming updates while the other is just for players of said game to convene and discuss anything relevant.
To have these subforums collide in anyway would almost definitely create more confusion than the latter. They're separated primarily so editors can both monitor/update their own subforum as-well as communicate with anything relevant to map development while the other just provides casual conversations/replays etc.

Re: Forums combining
@Hakuna Gota agree with Avilon they are separeted for a reason so people keep things on topic to cluser everything in 1 big "General" category would be really messy.
And Since ENTs forum is mainly Wc3 it wouldnt really have to be listed under wc3 to make sense
& No think most pick the Map related parts of the forum if it's related to that map and keep to Custom Games & General when it's other maps or topics.
If anything about should be changed it might be the Order they are listed.
But cant say I ever seen any complaints about that so

Re: Forums combining
If what you are saying is true then the moderators need to do a better job of moving/locking threads that are in the wrong section.
I find your description of the Warcraft III subforum to be innaccurate as regards the Legion TD section. Most of the threads there are discussing map changes. I see no reason why there needs to be an entire subforum simply dedicated to the developer giving patch notes, seems to me that there is already a subsection in the map development subforum titled patch notes for a reason and that the broader map development category is where the majority of the threads currently in the Warcraft III subforum should belong.
Just how I see it and I don't agree that it would be less organised to put them together. If you want more organization then create more subsections inside the Map Development subforum, don't make two separate subforums both titled Legion TD.

The map development subforum for LTD is for the current editors to see bugs/give out patch notes/see feedback and a wide variety of map development-related topics. The Warcraft III LTD subforum is for casual players to talk about anything LTD related. Not sure how more clear I can make this.
While I see some of your point, I just don't find it necessary. Both LTD sections exists in their own category, we've marked such and after a quick glance, I don't see these "inaccuracies" in post topics. As I've said, they are for two different purposes.
