Why are you banned: leaving game
Why you should be unbanned: Hi! I was autbanned for leaving [ENT] Legion TD Mega #20 on 14/6/18 at 22:50. My internet cut out for a moment and I was disconnected from the game It was not intentional at all, just bad luck

Also, not sure if relevant. Playing on a new account now, but had previously played with ENT with my old account lolartoge, but it was on US East.
Re: Clatch unban
Currently using clatch, clotch, and lolartoge was my previous account that I used until about 2 years ago,

Re: Clatch unban
@clatch Is there a reason that you dodged your ban? Before you say that it was unintentional, please note that I could see the steps that you went through to do so, after your appeal was submitted.
Re: Clatch unban
Honestly, I don't remember bans being instant back when I used to play in ENT games a few years ago (although, they definitely could have been and I just don't remember since I had never been banned before), so I was surprised to be instantly banned for lost connection, but now I am more familiar with how the situation works. After I got banned, I then made a second account, clotch, to check if the ban was just on my username, of it I would be banned by what I'm assuming is my IP address to see if it would be necessary to appeal the ban. Again, I was unfamiliar with how the ban system works and also what constitutes ban dodging, and it was not my intention to subvert the ban, although I understand that ignorance doesn't forgive breaking the rules. I am assuming your reference to ban dodging refers to me making a new account, clotch, correct?
Re: Clatch unban
Also, in the interest of transparency, I am currently on vacation in the US but live in Mexico where I am serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer. I'm returning to Mexico tomorrow, so my IP address will change once I get back. Just don't want this to be seen as me using a proxy or something.

@clatch
Please respond to the following:
1) Why does ENT enforce bans?
2) Copy and paste the rules surrounding ban dodging (after reading ALL of the general and
3) How you will handle situations in future when you are banned

Re: Clatch unban
Sorry for the triple post! Just reread the rules and now see how I violated the ban dodging rule. Again, I know ignorance is not an excuse, and I am sorry to have broken this rule. I also just wanted to clarify that the account I used to check the ban, clotch, has not been used in any other games. I just entered one or maybe 2 ENT games to verify that I was banned via my IP and then I submitted this ban appeal (please correct me if my timeline is wrong!). My previous account, lolartoge, has never been banned, and should have hundreds of games on record with ENT from a few years ago. Thanks again, just trying to give all the info that I can. I appreciate your time!
Re: Clatch unban
ENT enforces bans because players who break the rules can ruin the game for everyone. ENT a valuable service to us, and it is their every right to implement rules and enforce them as they see fit.
"Do not dodge your bans. Dodging is defined as playing on a different account while being banned on another account, often by a (purposely triggered) change of the IP. Dodging is considered a major offense equal to maphacking."
I will make sure to always be familiar with the rules. I think in this scenario, I was ignorant to all of those rules, which again, is not an excuse for breaking them. This won't happen again. I will make sure to always give as much info as I can to every scenario in the case that I am banned again, so that the mods can make informed decisions.
