[LTD] rly weird - but what else but to submit him?

Game Name: [ENT] Legion TD Mega #34
Your Warcraft III Username: Understacker
Violator's Warcraft III Username: bagofkittens

Violated Rule(s): Do not deceive players about rules in an attempt to get them banned/to force them to do something they are not obligated to. For example, telling users to draw or they would get banned is deceiving as drawing is a mere vote and not mandatory.

He is telling ppl that when you have e.g. thorns as king skill its illegal to switch targets and that it is illegal to do this with king any time.

I informed him that it is illegal, IF its less effective. I did this 10 times then gave up.

But ofc he still warns me about ban etc. and he keeps telling ppl this... which will make people not understand the rules. Which will fuck up games if ppl actually believe him.

At the very least he is distorting the rules and trying to fuck with king control to win.

Time of Violation (in-game or replay):
Many many examples here are a few
(16:00 / All) Bagofkittens: you switched between targets which is juggling.
(13:03 / All) Bagofkittens: king juggling is bannable
(13:43 / All) Bagofkittens: ofc. otherwise i wouldnt be warning you
(15:19 / All) Bagofkittens: sure man. you break the rules, not me. so why dont i understand them?

Any further thoughts:
Its not a big thing but you need to set him straight also it will ruin games if newbs thinks this is illegal. Its not.

Do not juggle the king preventing him from attacking or killing units.
Do not change the king's target to delay killing, except to efficiently kill multiple targets or kill higher priority targets such as sent units or low hp units. Range stomping and backward waving is allowed.

So you actually went ahead and submitted this...

first of all why are you dishing out and then playing the innocence card? ''its not a big thing but you need to set him straight''. Are you serious? all i said at the start of the incident was that juggling is bannable and you insulted me through the entire game, made a huge deal out of it and then posted on here.

Who exactly was i deceiving? i saw you switch between targets when you leaked wave 7 (or might have been 8, i cant remember) which would be fine to kill high priority targets, but it is not fine if you switch targets so fast that you stop king from attacking, which delays time and is called ''juggling'', you did that at least twice.

secondly i warned you nicely, and you came charging out of the blocks with insults, then act on here like a grown up.

if i was indeed wrong, and an admin tells me that, i will hold my hands up and apologize, but in my opinion you are just wasting peoples time.

Was bored so I checked the chat and the replay-
Apart from beeing unnecessarily rude (Understacker) did not break any rules. He didnt try to delay, he used Thorns to clear to wave as fast as possible.

It doesnt seem like bagofkittens intended to to "deceive" anyone tho maybe he should consider to take a look at the Ltd rules.
This report seems to fueled by salt. Waste of time-

@bagofkittens

Figured I could offer some insight here, as I previously have had run-ins with people I've reported for juggling, as seems to be the case in the game referred to here.

So basically the key to understanding the rule is that changing targets generally doesn't result in a slower kill time overall, though it might cost the king more hp if the person controlling isn't an ace. When the controller is really good, changing targets can actually be used to kill the wave ever so slightly faster, by cutting out the animation backswing of each attack. It doesn't add up to much but occasionally it could make the difference between 1 and 2 heals, etc. The main point of the rule is that it's possible to "juggle" the king's aggro so that he doesn't ever attack, causing the king to die, giving more time to harvest lumber, or alternatively, allowing time for someone who cleared slow to get back and take the kills. Both of these scenarios are against the rules and are what the rule about juggling is referring to.

Cheers

Just so we're clear here -

After checking the replay, this is an "exception" to the rule because, as stated, the thorns were killing the units slowly and by him lowing target HP, he was able to 1 shot the remaining therefor indeed, killing multiple targets.

I don't believe anything was "wrong" here but yes, this was a misinterpretation and @bagofkittens I advise you read up on the rules more so you can get a better clear understanding for the future.
