Errors since new patch

Hey guys,

I some it sometimes that someone disconnected in Arena but now it happens for me like in every 10th game. Is there something I can do about it? It throws me directly to the desktop

Yeah and it happens mostly when its "gg" sends for some reason (I've seen it happened 10+ times during end game sends since 1.3). Some players are starting to believe its an exploit to avoid loss. I doubt this but something is triggering it since the 1.3 patch.

Happened to me again. We lost the game 95% but it kicked me out randomly. Am really sorry and ofc I would take the L but there has to be any way to stop this shit. It wasn't like this before the newest patch.
I promise I do not dodge losses because I do not really care about ELO much.

Sorry, but I really think 1v1 is completely pointless so I dont play that at all.

I can second that there are quite some disconnects (about 10-20% of my games end in a crash). E.g. see

These crashes occur quite often on send, basically (?) never before 10, and sometimes after arena.
Also I cannot provide a 1v1 example, sorry. Hope that input is helpful though.

sorry was in a hurry yesterday. It threw me out to the desktop without an error message. Maybe this is not a flaw in the map design.

I tested icetroll and its upgrade this morning. built 100 of them and did round 1-31 without a crash.
Not sure if it needs additional parameters...

There were speculations about memory leaks in WC3 on hiveworkshop, and since other custom games (and apparently also the campaign and AT/RT melee) also crash, I guess it's up to Blizzard to fix.

@entgeneer i found the issue.
The hint with the icetroll helped a lot even although its not exclusively this unit.
