There have been about 3 instances in the past week where rooms were left empty and because of it people weren't able to join the next game (unhost but still shows up in channel). Only once was an admin there to fix it. I think you should just get more admins over the lihl bot because of reasons like this, and if anything the majority of players wouldn't abuse, and would use it so that we don't have to bug admins about it.
Just had about 10 players today which is rare, but almost all of them left because of this problem. I know iight and beep are trying to get their elo on another server or whatever, but there really needs to be some active admins or just give the power to clear rooms to more people....

Yep, pretty often no Admin is online when a problem arises. Mods should choose 1-3 (active) people who they trust the most and give them some powers.

Agreed; just to abort an empty game; on abuse he or she can be reported and removal of this extra power.

Re: need lihl admins to log on
It happens when we unhost a game, we made a new one so it can be 4v4 then one person couldn't join for some weird reason. We checked the !games and it showed the first game we unhosted still up. When we unhosted the recent 4v4 to make a new one to see if he can join that one, surprise he could but two others couldn't join the new one. Unfortunately all 3 games were still up and we couldn't find any admin to clear them so some people logged off.
Giving the lihl players the ability to unhost games in case situations like this happen would be nice. There is a reason these people are playing in lihl, there are very few (if any) who would abuse this

Giving power is something we don't have authority to do, try posting this in the suggestion section, viewforum.php?f=9
Or apply for LIHL moderator position.
OR maybe uakf.b can fix this problem?

Re: need lihl admins to log on
Today LIHL wasn't useable for about 2-4 hours cause of what BA descriped. It was uakf fixing the problem then cause still no LIHL mod was online (that's no blaming, you can't always be online, but that's why I/we would like some more ppl who can abort games)

Or make it that highest elo (captain) that can also abort it when they !sign. If the highest elo player is the one who is afking then yur screwed but what are the odds!!? :p

Re: need lihl admins to log on
As BeepBoopBeep said, as LIHL moderators we don't have the control of the bot to give power. But I do support this idea. I have been there as a player when you have enough players but no admin online to fix the bot. That is pretty annoying.
I see no problem in giving players the power to unhost games. As long as there is a rule that states it can only be used to unhost games when there is a bot defect, and people report when others are abusing it, I can see no reason why it should not be implemented.

Re: need lihl admins to log on
The bots should now automatically unhost after seven minutes if there are no players in the game, and there are currently 3 bots to host, so the bot problems should be solved. Moving this to archive.
