Could the dev team take this community to another stage and start their own gaming platform for custom strategy games, if properly funded?

Is anyone of ENT/someone else aware of the effect of this action? I went online yesterday at 14.00 CET and there were 2121 people online at that moment. Today same time it was 2459. But that is comparing a weekend day with a week day. Probably this means there were hundreds of people less online than usual, because of the bot shutdown. Is that true? Any more info on the effects?

I was also wondering the same! I checked both saturday and sunday and my numbers are similar to yours. Anyone has a clue how many people usually play in the weekend?

Statistics for Warcraft 3 players on Battle.Net:
Usually during the week days, especially in the morning, it is around 2700 people.
During the week-ends, more specifically in the afternoon, around 4300 people.

So the game diminished by over 50% when the biggest hosting bots went offline, and there were even some hosting bots that didn't participate. I guess that is the best argument for Blizzard that removing the bots will kill the game.

From the blizz forum. Accurate in me opinnion. All know its true. Nothing that blizz done was to support old games. Just to try foce some bucks from new games and kill the old ones. Their polici no bots is just to slowly kill game so they dont need to pay for servers they promised when they selled the game. And dont make it opensource because they fear someone whould make this game florish for freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

It was so funny when here u writing about bots but when they was off many names from here and also OHS played on 6.85ne and others.

Whether or not they actually will agree with the concerns, it looks like that uproar actually did something.

hi what happened to old replays cant seem to find mine that date past 04/09/2018, 05:09. did the old replays get deleted? just wondering
