Why is there no answer to this:
Cant start game with Warcraft III.exe cause it causes and error, thats why i am using the launcher to start it.

There are many players that got the same issue!

That should not be the case as you can imagine... launcher does the same as launching war3.exe though.

No, the launcher checks for updates first and automatically updates the game -> cant use entconnect cause wrong wc3 version.

Not sure whether this dumb question has been answered but how do i start the game via local network games? I created one but couldnt start it?

@uakf.b can't log in after entering username and password; neither can I create account. Clicking on those 2 buttons on the login page just didn't do anything

@knukka haven't figured out that bug yet, but for now try the "Windows web version" in the first post. It'll open up WC3Connect in your browser.

Hi there, is there a way to add computer players? My friend is new to this and we would like to get some practice over lan.

Sorry I'm new to this, when I host a game and join it I'm not able to edit any of the players - ie add computers.

Could someone advise please? Thanks

SKILL is 0=easy, 1=normal, 2=impossible
for example, to add normal computer in 5th slot:

@naux hmm if it isn't fixed players then it might not be possible from bot commands.

@Dimitrij1606 I have re-imported your account, try now. Note that in the future, the WC3Connect password will not be updated if you reset your forum account password, they are separate accounts.

First of all, glad to see the proactive approach! Thanks for the hard work! I know battlefield 1942 did the same kind of thing after gamespy shutdown and it is still alive today, so I hope the player base will follow!

3 questions:

1. Would it make more sense to roll back to an even earlier version? I know there are a couple of new maps since the new versions came out, but we also lost A LOT of maps after 1.29.

2. Does it work like the old dotacash client? (What type of protocol does it use to establish the connection?)

3. Can 2 people on the same lan use the client simultaneously?

Roll is back 1.26 alot of maps work with that version but also there is a lot of new maps on that version!
