[LTD] bumpimp ghosting

I remember only ever discovering LTD through a streamer called PYRO, i was only ever a regular Warcraft 3 player and noticed his stream and wondered what this LTD game was. Asking him questions and watching his stream was how i tried LTD and without noticing his stream i would never have known about LTD.

Punishing your greatest source for recruiting new players to ENT bots would be a shame granted how small the community is and the opportunity for new players to discover it is only through people who stream. If someone wants to cheat and the evidence is strong enough then punish the cheater, not the streamer. The community is super fragile with small groups of friends always defending each other. You ruin it for one person then you ruin it for quite a few!

So what's wrong with just Delay the fucking Stream? Player who aren't in the Game wouldn't even notice its delayed.
Also Milky still needs to get punished. He has really some obv actions which feels like ghosting.

Btw: cause bump mentioned lf: he had delay I think. At least in lihl

Krocis you seem a little simple, let me do some basic math for you as you don't have enough fingers to count. 9 people watching a 1200+ streamer. 2-3 games max running in 1200+, takes 8 people to fill a game, so we have at maximum, 16-24 people. So if Bumpimp has 9 people watching then do the maths on how much of the community are watching him. His only viewers are 1200+ players. It seems you are not in danger of being kicked from Lihl anymore, do us all a favour and just stay in Lihl! Don't need the drama you have there brought into 1200 bot!

Ok lemme do a little math for u too, 1 of them was me dats 8 ppl one of them was milkyway who was watching his stream to make calls dats 7 ppl,7ppl wud dodge a game where is possible ghosting so 7-7=0 implement for ent community, BUT, dats not my point of this report so dont make here discussion about this and also I play a lot 1200 games , and if u want ppl to play 1200 i am also one of the community or u wanna just another -1?

/edit and I dont mind him streaming the point is make delay to avoid possible ghosting and ban ppl who obviously abuse this kind of cheating...

I am not sure why you report the streamer, @krocis, and not only the guy who was supposedly abusing the stream to make calls.
The ENT rules state the following regarding streams:

The use of any utility (FCD, maphack, stream sniping, etc.) that gives you an unfair advantage over other players will result in a heavy ban.

There are more well known streams and it would be a shame if streamers could not stream games on ENT out of fear of abuse. There is a more well known streamer who also does not use a lot of delay and I hope that the ENT community respects streamers and does not try to draw an unfair advantage from it.

LT;DR: Just turn the stream off, if you are in the enemy team

@Augustinus Ofc I also report streamer when he obviously break this rule. And I dont mind him streaming just hell, do delay to avoid this kind of report.

Do not ghost by leaking information to your enemies/opponents.

You can hope community respects streamers and does not try to abuse it, but somehow there is a guy who doesnt fuckin care about manners and just stalking him and play against him while he is watching his stream. This is kinda cheating and shud be punished for a long time.

Streaming is quite popular and common for other games and we do want the ENT community to get a slice of that trend. It seems that this thread has become unnecessary hostile and is straying from the original report purpose, while we all agree that we do want streamers and we don't want people to abuse the stream. Now some people say here that you can achieve that by adding delay to the stream. But:

•Delay or not it is still possible to follow calls, see units, spell ect to make 100% accurate calls. You would only be able to avoid fast reactions to information from the stream like to warr send ect. So how would this solve the bigger picture of this problem? Since you can't prevent streamsniping why do u see the streamer responsible for it when you are pro streamers? Furthermore, if you draw this sharp line for ghosting how is a stream with delay not ghosting anymore according to you?

•A stream with some minutes delay is not live anymore and you could as well watch a video. The streamer could not interact with the viewers anymore. What you demand in order to prevent abuse is excessive and killing the whole idea. I also do not recall LForward to use huge delay.

I would at least expect that on the 1200+ bot there is a code of honor to not abuse a stream.
One abuser stands against several players who live streams. Not hard to make a pick here.

How the fuck u wanna react to spells,calls and obs etc if theres 10min Delay lol. Even 5Minutes make it pretty impossible to plan the Game. (At least first 10 Lvls)

e: idc if he streams or not but ur arguments are pretty dumb (besides the interacting but u gotta deal with that - maybe if he focus his lane only and not show any infos to viewers about rest of the team)

5-10 min delay = video, not stream.
