Guys idk, if following info came to you, but there will be released new Warcraft III: Reforged which will be re-realease of WC3 in 4K,with editor of maps,same game engine,+The frozen throne data disk,
That might be the reason why they killing several custom games and BOTs.

Nevertheless I am super hyped about it!
I am secretly hoping for a search engine beside the melee map, which covers some standard and slightly reworked (for the better) version of the popular maps like dota, ltd, castle fight.

I would be surprised if the major communities (such as Ent) would move to WC3 Forged, since I guess it will also not support hosting bots etc. And I'm also not expecting that Forged will offer the same functionality which Ent offers. Sooo ... possibly there will be no custom maps community?

There is an improved world editor though, so maybe if LTD can be improved, it might still be better to play there.

They already confirmed that you can play crossrealm with tft and remastered.
And ss they just hired someone to improve the current editor i doubt the one of remasted will be any different.
So the custom community will remain.
