Pretty sure there are still significant tournaments of original DotA going on in the Chinese leagues.

And these million-dollar matches aren't very common; the first was a marketing strategy by Valve to spark interest into the game, and the second an attempt to rekindle the interest before the beta goes public.

Well I don't think playing in a Chinese league would be very exciting...personally.

Also, it was an international tournament, which goes on annually. It's being played in Seattle, WA at the end of the month actually. I know the chances of being in that championship are literally none, but there will be more tournaments starting up in DotA 2. I'm just trying to get some interest for a team to represent ENT. I'm not even thinking I'll be good enough to play on it, but i'd be more than happy to manage it, and enter the team into tournaments.
