Revert LTD 1,2k Bot back to 1,1k

Dont know if there is any need for a change tbh. You can simply restore your stats, then you have your elo again First reset is free, every other one is only 3 Dollars and it helps ent to keep stuff running.

It takes 20+min to start a normal LTD game. It's impossible to climb like that. I was a 1200+ player but I was inactive and my stats got reset. Now I am stuck in the normal games. 1200+ even has more players than normal LTD, it's painfully slow to start a normal game.
Just merge 1200+ and normal LTD games.
The people who are willing to download a custom wc3 client + WC3Connect are way more practiced in LTD than back in the pub games. 1200+ isn't necessary anymore.

Just apply the 1200+ rules to the normal LTD and let the 1200+ guys teach the normal LTD guys. This way the community grows together and games start faster.

That was denied in the past, since a lot of people want to play mega for cross.
About the stats i dont see the problem, if at 1 point in time you had an account that had over 1200 elo and it got resetted due to inactivity, you can simply ask for the stats to be reset afaik.

I'm testing this right now. Been playing since weekend on mega bot and it really is harder than before. Not impossible, ofc, and I need to learn new units etc but it's more work than it would be straight on 1200 I'd say. Didn't get answer yet to my stat restore but we will see if deleted account can be restored. I also like this idea btw since playerbase is much smaller than before it seems.

I was the first to reach 2k, 2,1k and 2,2k on the 1,1/1,2k bot and have maintained rank 1 between 2200 and ~2240 for months.

May I ask when you hit 2k?

I'd say there are some things that can be done to get more games going in mega bot, 1200+ bot and in lihl even. It's just the mentality that all these players share in general, the lack of will for a change. The game/map itself is actually more fun than it used to be 4 years ago, thanks to Brouder's efforts and ideas, so all you need is some vision and perspective to bring people back to whats essentially a free to play game.

totaly agaisnt decrease , i would even increase the 1200+ bot since there are so many "mega" players comin by and are not even will to learn or listen to advices noo.. they even get arrogant and flame you .
Like it was stated above or in another thread the biggest problem is playing on 2 seperate plattforms i see many ltd games going on @ bnet maybe they dont even know about entconnect, cant blame them since you need a different patch for it...

Maybe we could have another no mid bot with no ELO requirement and separate no mid ELO from Mega ELO. This way 1200+ and lihl knowledge of the game could easily get you to 1200 ELO and maybe the requirement should be higher. Also the ELO/experience you get is actually meaningful when you finally get to play on the 1200+ bot. This way people can actually learn to play standard LTD on the new bot and still have the mega bot as the wild west. It would also allow for separate balancing of no mid and mid mode.

I think the problem is that the player base is shrinking. I don't think we would have enough players to get 3 lobbies going. Consider that the 1200 Elo requirement comes from a time where you would basically get easily 1200 elo by knowing how to cross and send as a team on the mega bot.

Let's be clear, mega is a type of game, 1200 is another type of game. 2 different games, absolutely different game, if mega rules applied to 1200 it would a very entertaining game, what you could do is make mega bot with 1200 rules and keep the old mega bot also, so 2 mega bots imo.

Anything happening here..? The 1,2k entry barrier comes from almost medieval times and is certainly not needed anymore. Why make it so hard for new players to get into this game? ENT is close to dead. Games take forever to start and you always see the same few people. It should be in ENTs interest to lower the entry barrier a little.

How are ppl supposed to get better, without having the chance to play with ppl that claim to actualy know the game. The only thing i realy see is 1,2 players looking down at all players on mega. Why dont you give them the chance to learn from you and get better and increase the player base on 1,2 ?
Mega and 1,2 are two completly diff games. Even if they manage to get to 1,2, they basicly can start learning the game all over again. Why not decrease the entry barrier and teach them way earlier ?

How about we reset the ladder on 1200+ and maybe make it with vouch ( vouch all the current 1200+ players ) and if new players wants to join just give em trial + 2-3 replays on mega both with -phgmcbnm mode and the players from 1200+ can watch the replay and vote
