Like Yarragon, I saw the some of the same issues you did and agreed on a lot of it. As did almost all of the "regulars" who I was friends with. But what we didn't do is ruin games and ask Blizzard to shut down ENT.
never once did I ruin a game, and any and all of the bans on my account are largely subjective within the context. Read: av1on banned me for "tk" when all I did was auto attack a team mate a few times to stop him from auto attacking stuff I built to help a noob titan player, instead of just killing him within 2 minutes of the game starting because he didn't take his invisibility skill.
Half of the issues brought up by the "regulars" got ignored and responded to with the copy-pasta bullshit, or was sent down from the "big names" as a defense for what was going on. Some of the former mods had straight up told me "Oh I have to say / do this otherwise it'll make [person] look bad, and if he looks bad the rest of us do. I don't even agree here man." Thus, I made sure the issues I felt were relevant were looked at by abusing them until someone took a look at it / making a ruckus.
I'm pretty confident if I had actually followed protocol and been a good little citizen I could have even been a mod myself, but I never actually cared that much. The analogy I used when Kappa started moderating was I chose to sit on the beach and watch under my umbrella all the shit roll in, he chose to jump into the ocean of bullshit and take it on head first. That, and I couldn't resist calling out stupid shit... or stupid people.
