Average salary in Montenegro is around $1,500 per month. You don't make much in Europe relative to the States. All these bums playing from Europe are hilarious always taunting their salaries lol

Sorry for disturbing you all, i work for 2 MSPs, 1 is in Austin, TX and the other one is in Boca Raton, FL. I do get around 100k, working from Montenegro. So you can only imagine how good it is to live here and work for USA companies.

Honestly, I don't care for ban or anything. This is the only game I play, and I play it while I work, it kind of relaxes me. I ll just do the VPN and play game or two, In the end, I am not your enemy. I was always wondering how can I contribute to maintaining this system/server working, through some small donation or maybe with my IT experience.

For your information, I travel frequently, so my IP addresses naturally vary depending on my location. When I’m home in Montenegro, I use multiple locations, all of which have dynamic IP addresses. This is common with home networks because it's cost-effective.

Blocking a specific IP won't be effective since dynamic IPs rotate. You might even risk banning another innocent player who happens to get assigned the same IP. And even if you ban one, I’ll simply get a new one.

Let’s keep this discussion friendly and avoid unnecessary drama

Honestly, you're not a bad player and you aren't a ruiner. But it did seem the game wasn't over and you should have just played it out rather than doing what you did.

It would be in your best interest in not having to constantly find a new IP or VPN to just admit you made a mistake, you've learned from it, and move on.

I'm sure you will be unbanned.

Anyone with a brain can dodge every few accounts so it's not exactly a skill. Do you really want to get banned every five games and have to get a new IP/account? Just own up to it and he'll unban you.

Thanks @Astros, I want to clarify that I’ve never intentionally ruined a game. Typically, when my team is losing and refuses to FF, I just stay back and let the game play out, it can get boring at that point. In this case, I genuinely thought the game was over, but I agree I should have stuck it out until the end.

I believe most of us here are part of the old squad, 30+ years old guys, playing a game we’ve loved since childhood. I understand the frustration of dealing with players who genuinely ruin games, but I’m not one of them.

At the end of the day, I’m just happy to be able to play old-school DOTA again and appreciate everyone who supports keeping it alive.
