User was on the opposite team it is your fault if you do not properly protect your items i.e if he killed your courier and took its items or if you were at the secret shop and had items dropped your fault. The objective of the game is to win by any means possible which doesnt break the rules however.

Item stealing is only bannable if the thief is on YOUR team.
