Imho stats should be only avaliable at the game.
People should not be able to !sd, !lms, etc.. in lobby and using the bot clan.enterprise.

Why should it matter what the public thinks?

He's saying it's at the user's discretion whether or not you want to have public stats. Besides, stats aren't accurate in any game unless it is 1v1. You either have horrid team mates ruining your stats or amazing team mates carrying your stats.

People often stats me and say I hack because of my relatively high win loss percentage. Personally I don't care but I'm sure some people would rather just deactivate it. This also works the other way around. If you have a relatively low win percentage people will flame you for being bad.

It's useful to have stats to give players an idea of their team mate or opponent skill level or experience but if people feel strongly about having private stats, it should really be up to them.

I support for this suggestion.

I do not think people need to see people's stats in lobby when they join a game or be able to use !sd to check stats.
Can stats visibility even be optional for each person playing the bot? Just hide it from everyone.

I also dont think ppl need the download option for each games.

!no support.
this is dumb. having stats is what brought me to ent and im sure it did for lots of other people. if you make it so people cant see your stats then go play bgn or dc. if it aint broke dont fix it.

wtf.. why make a post about it if you have that attitude about it...

I don't honestly care, but if we decide to keep stats lets focus on making them correctly balanced, last I checked ELO in ID was broken, and had many bugs which were calculating wrong, also doesn't give much elo so it's hard to determine skill level.
Got it memorized?

LOL!

public's opinion is important to us.

You clearly aren't following what I meant by that.

For this particular suggestion, the public's opinion doesn't matter. It is a personal choice to remove your stats. Unless you plan on having the public vote on whose stats can be private or not...

I don't support or not support this, but I would just leave the stats how they are.

I'd bet the public would want stats.

Probably it'll be hide stats instead of disable, because ELO needed for auto balance.

All non-administration-specific suggestions should go in Suggestions section...

I agree somewhat with this.
You should only be allowed to use the stat commands only in the channel Clan ENT. This will force users to get off their butts visit the channel once in awhile, instead of whispering or using the command in-game.

Please read the OP, instead of just the topic title..

Clearly it's an option, you can disable it IF YOU WANT TO but it'll be enabled by default. Anyway implementation will probably be to hide, so you can still see your own stats (if you don't want to see it, then don't !sd yourself..) but it won't show on stats page or anywhere else. Would be used for ELO calculation though. And you could estimate the ELO based on the Average I guess too.

Actually with the last sentence, seems like not so great suggestion. ELO is needed for balancing.

Can you still SD people in the game lobby?

Sorry I'd like to share my idea again.

the command !stats*!sd;!lms;!cfs;!rvs) shouldn't be allow in lobby or via whisper to the clan.enterprise, to prevent stacking, rage quit, etc..
When the game start, the bot should say to everyone the score, saying the ELO prize if they win, and the amount of ELO if they lose the game..
