Uhh duh just look at me jeez.

Anyways I will support Aroundthaworld for mod as long as he can keep his lid in some games and stays active within the forums as well I see no reason why not too accept this application.

Lol, this is NWU so this would be mine and Matdas's area.

I propose that we accept him, cyber does know World from bgn and he was known as a good mod, he is also a respected player within the nwu community and as it stands I am unable to moderate that game due to not being able to play at all for the next while as well combined with matdas. World also is friends with the mapmaker therefore he knows the workings of the game and will also know the most up to date info on this particular game.

I'd like to see more activity. You got only 55 posts, and looking at those, I wouldn't say you contributed much. I mean, sure, you reported some people and stuff, but participating in ban requests would make a bigger deal. Show good judgement skills in ban requests, show that you can use needed tools, and you will get support.

Just curious, do you really only have 3 games played in Legion TD and want to become a LTD moderator? Or do you have any other aliases?
[08:33:42 ] Ent.Security2: [aroundthaworld] has played 3 Legion TD Mega games here (ELO: 1014.61). W/L: 2/1.
So my question is, what makes you think you'd have to experience to judge LTD ban requests or moderate games from this map?

No departaments!
Admins are allowed to handle any ban request. If there's a sittuation where the admin doesn't know what to do, he should use the admin forum to ask for help.. No big deal about it.

We only have one Game Moderator group so it doesn't matter either way. We don't have separate departments for different games. That field is mostly so we can tell what you have an interest in, Moderators are expected to help in every area.

Why are you all still debating this? The core mods/admins have already supported Around. Make Gabgja an admin already huehue and give me his tag/color. ;'D

I'd apply for Mod as well but you know the controversies surrounding me so I clearly wouldn't be accepted plus I'm inactive now. :)

It is not about the amount of !support. But the next days/weeks that follow his request to be accepted. Let me be clear, we let application open for one weeks to two weeks to see if the user first - answer question etc. and to see if he is really active or just power hungry. I'll make this clear.

If someone post an app' to be in the staff and then stop all is activity OR he just post in useless topics such : Off topics etc. instead of BRQ/Appeal. He's more looking like someone that just want the power of a moderator than a good moderator. If he continue to help through the BRQ section and appeal while his app' is open and that we debate on it (he's not guarantee to be accepted), he's more looking like someone that WANT to DO the JOB of a mod and not someone that WANT to BE a mod. To me this is the difference between volounteer that we should accept and those we shouldn't.

Well considering Gabriels good history with BGN and of how he caught ban-dodgers/maphackers in his past, he is clearly a good addition to the group. Also bit, considering he hasn't posted on here "all the time" - you will most definitely see more activity on here when he does become a game mod. Offering input for games will often reduce chances of becoming an admin depending on what you state.

Back on topic @ Nutz,
Also, as Yondaime said, he knows NWU mechanics and is least likely to abuse. He just trolls here and there but means no ill will toward anyone. There is a difference between wanting power and using it. If you want power, you are most likely to abuse - this is not Arounds case. Around wants to use it to punish those that have actually broken the rules. As Yondaime, matdas said !support

True, I haven't played much LTD games on ENT but back when I played on BGN I played it quite a lot and the rules are pretty much the same. I don't plan in playing LTD much often since my main map that I play is NWU and also a lot of mods here play it, but I'm just letting you guys know that if there is a ban request related to a LTD game, I could take care of it with no problem. :)

Irrelevant for me.

Your response is irrelevant for me. Let me clear this up. Written inside the guidelines for applying is to do this : Desribe any relevant experience, both in moderating and in Warcraft III:
So yes, his past experience does matter. Or would you like to explain why it is written within the application when you consider it irrelevant?

No reason why you shouldn't be accepted, you actually put effort into your application unlike a good chunk of people who applied. Just make sure you understand that when you're a moderator, you're not only representing yourself in-game but ENT as well. Just remember, you're being given power in a sense when you get promoted so you abuse and we prune. Good luck friend.

(the let me explain it, so even a red can understand) you can drop.

You are a red. You are on one of the highest positions here on staff. Meaning, everything that is written in the application policy/guideline or whatever you want to call it is relevant.

What is the point of having that section within the form to fill out? Apparently none since one of the people who is here to accept or deny applications considers it irrelevant.... Just remove it from the application policy then
