Brief introduction: I've always been interested in helping out the ID community, I would've applied earlier if I had time for ENT, but I didn't have enough time to be playing ID, have a lot of night shifts when working, which interfered with my ID playing time, and so I don't play ID as much when I'm just too tired from work, and played DotA2 during the day. I've recently stopped playing DotA2 and any other online game, so now that I have enough time for ENT, I am now applying for ENT staff.

Job experience:
This is where I shine. Since employers take experience in the particular field so seriously, here is my experience in this field:

Root administrator of BurnBot (My old GhostOne bot, autohosting Island Defense).
Bunch of Admins and root admin in numerous Island Defense bots including bots from Clan TRA/IDG, FtF, BGN, PeID, etcetera, etcetera.

Game moderator of BGN.
Staff administrator of BGN.
Lead administrator of BGN.

Games I have experience with and will be willing to moderate:
#1- Island Defense
#2- DotA
#3- Any request with maphack

What I will bring to the ENT community:

I am willing to help the ENT community thrive, I see ENT has a lot of potential, and I am willing to start from scratch, get friendly with the staff, then help shape ENT for the better, I care mainly for the ID community, although I think helping the WC3DotA community is just as important, since DotA players can be introduced to Island Defense and vice versa.

I am capable and will do required work on the job description, like ban requests, ban appeals, maphack requests, and game moderation when I have spare time. I am already and always will be a forum fanatic, and have done my fair share of requests/appeals/maphack requests from BGN to be able to do them quickly, efficiently, and anyone from BGN can vouch for me that I learn from past mistakes to avoid future ones.

Closing Statement and why I want to become a game moderator:
For my closing statement I will present this last topic for you guys to get to know me a little better.

Okay, I'll be honest. The main reason I want to become a game moderator for ENT is for personal gain. I know that a lot of you will judge me for saying it, but I'm being honest, and I don't want to spout a bunch of political bullshit for you guys and saying about how much I care about the the public players, etc. So please, don't judge me yet, try to keep an open mind for the next few paragraphs:

Now, don't get me wrong, I do care about the ID community, but it's merely a selfish interest to raise popularity of the ID community so that games fill faster for me, also so that there will be more active players becoming better at the game so that I can play with better players. So, that means, by caring only for myself it just so happens that I have a strong desire to improve ENT's ID community and make it better for everyone.

That leads me to my next point, I will go to great lengths for fight for what I think is right, mainly for the ID community as a whole, and also for people who are worth fighting for, so I am fairly loyal to ID staff, but of course will do my job and be unbiased when it comes to actually doing my job, like giving opinions and etc. about new recruits as a game moderator.

From what I have learned from being with the War3 community from BGN and numerous ID clans, I found out what I think is the optimal way I like to portray myself, as someone who contributes to topics at hand and someone who gives the honest to God truth about everything, but obviously remaining silent where silence is due, like who I don't like, etc. to prevent drama. This is the first time I will test this persona out, where I am BLATANTLY honest to everyone about everything, but not enough to cause drama, because no-one likes inter-staff drama.

Oh, and I almost forgot, I'll also add this paragraph in: I obviously enjoy the little perks of being an admin like !alias and swapping colours for friends, and even the tiniest perks like swapping players to their desired colours and having to be able to deal with players breaking rules, thus saving the game from being ruined, and not having to post ban requests all the time.

Now, I don't know if it's me talking out of my ass since it is 2:25PM as I am writing this particular line. I think it's worth noting that it is 2:25PM - I haven't slept all night playing ENT Island Defense in-houses, CookieClicker, Youtube and Reddit. To end this topic about my personality, I obviously am a lot more mysterious when I am in real life, and I'll just test this honest persona out. ENT will just be my little social science experiment and see how it goes. The internet really does bring out the truth in people talking as an anonymous person with little to nothing to lose.

Burnshady always good sense of judgement, recently he had resigned at bgn due too activity issues, he is widely known through the ID community, is a good friend of Art)y always had a good sense of judgement while on staff. I support this application 100% as he is also helping out with the ENT inhouse league.

Seems to genuinely care for the ID community which is always a plus. Combined with the knowledge of the game, extensive past experience, and the general desire to help others get better at the game, I'd say you're a pretty good candidate for the job.

Back on topic, I like your honesty and even if it is for personal gain, I believe you will be a great addition to our team. I think adding you to our staff will encourage more people to play ID on our servers. Good Luck =)

Inactivity. I left WC3 for a few months due to exams and was really busy in the holidays, so I thought I might as well resign to open up a lead administrator spot. I also didn't want to be one of those inactive afklords who won't be kicked from staff due to being a lead administrator.

BGN is kind of inactive, no major work needs to be done there as the users have moved on too us, it is more of a ground right now for the administrators. Currently I see little activity from the public. My insight view of that.

Yes, I am confident I can also manage being a forum mod on BGN, as they have not many topics or even posts to moderate. I didn't even mention being a BGN forum mod in this application since it doesn't really mean anything due to BGN forums being too inactive - too less topics/posts to even moderate.

Even so, as a forum geek, I would easily be able to manage both jobs even if BGN forums was more popular.
