Your top 3 heros
Here list Your top 3 dota heros and reason
My list :
1. PUDGE , easy to Kill and save allies also great tank and teamplay hero.
( practice with mirana before u pick pudge so I can land hooks well ) .
2. Thrall , good counter to many heros for example SB and slark , good aoe spells and very annoying against enemys.
3. Oracle , oracle needs partner with him like huskar , oracle is very supportive and helpful against hard carrys like naix. But you can do 3 itembuilds , first is carry. Skadi orchid travel boots etc , second is support with meka and hex etc , last one what is the worst I think but people still
do it , is dagon ethereal blade . Oracle really doesn't need kills , he's support

Re: Your top 3 heros
My top 3 would be
1) Obsidian Destroyer, great lane control with astral, a passive that allows your team to spam spells, amazing dps later in game and an ulti that destroys opponent teams.
2) Dazzle, not the best babysitter early on because of his mana problems, but mid-late game the best support in game. Poison touch with 7 sec cd is a nightmare, his shadow weave can deal tons of dmge with good positioning, especially when opponents are in low armor, his grave(goes through bkb) lets your carry deal more damage for 5 secs, or saves his life, and his ulti is a gamebreaker on teamfights.
3) Viper. I never lose with viper unless my team feeds rly hard. Simple as that. Go check my guide to viper if u want more details

1. Goblin Shredder ----> Ownage
2. Earth Spirit ----> Rampage
3. Tuskar ----> Pwnage
Simple as that. I could also say all gay carry hero like sb/slark/riki/pa/pl/void and such... But there's no need of skill for these hero, they're simply broken as fuck.

Re: Your top 3 heros
i think everyone is going to have a different opinion on who is the best heros. and everyone is right in their own way.
but as for me
1. weaver ----> easy to rape someone, easy to get away if needed.
2. Invoker ---> very versatile, great spell manipulation for both offense and defense, can be great even against bkb.
3. sniper ---> with the right build he could be the hardest carry.

Well..
3.Pudge,good tank and his hook can be use at offensive but as defensive as well,
2.Nevermore,because his Necromastery spell can make a huge +damage at the beggining of the game,
1.Viper,can deal huge damage if right items are made and his Viper Strike can be used for helping allies that are running from enemies.

Re: Your top 3 heros
1) Omniknight. Used to be best support in the game but now I'd say probably only top 3-5. Wisp, Dazzle, Wyvern may be a tad better now in my opinion but still I love the room for creativity Omni has. Excellent meta-game even if you go for support items. These days there's no shortage of good heroes that can break thru your repel, but if your opponents neglect to pick any, make 'em pay with a phase boot/radiance/skadi build that they can't hurt OR run from.
2) Dark Seer. Another favorite of mine for mainly the same reason in that you can be awfully creative with him. Played him a million times and still pick up new little tricks here and there. Usually picked to combo with big aoe ult teams, he can actually fulfill many more roles in pub games. Including very annoying semi-carry and semi-tank options with shivas or AC. Play hard support necrobook 3 type builds if needed and remember you are always an excellent defender if you use ion shell properly.
3) Wyvern. Not sure a lot of the public gamers have truly figured him out yet. He is hands down my favorite hero to bait with at the moment. Tremendous counter-puncher with THREE great skills to use for escaping (dagger makes 4!). Downside is he's not a great initiator, but if he can land his ult effectively with good timing it is absolutely gamebreaking by turning their carry against his own support.
*For those who whine about bara a lot, he is a great counter to an overly aggressive Spiritbreaker in pub games. Tank charge and nether (not too hard, wyvern is beefy), pop on heal (watch as he still tries to hit you), quickly ult him and nuke if there is another target present, pop on arctic burn and use sheep or whatever you got(If he fights you, run over trees/cliffs as needed). You may not always kill him but he will usually scurry back to base with a lot of wasted time and effort.

Re: Your top 3 heros
For the WW part. :
I'm curious, what would you do with someone getting an orchid or even bkb on SB? ... But you're not wrong on the fact that it is pub level... WW is great.

Re: Your top 3 heros
I Got new favorite heros .
1. Strom spirit , good support / Late game carry , great team player but it all depends who is playing with it.
2. Bloodseeker . Great carry and tank . Bs is perfect against casters like akasha or storm.

Re: Your top 3 heros
1. TA - Few hereos have the same lane control as her. Pubs dont really understand her and underestimate her dmg output.
2. SF - Even though hes outclassed by most mid hereos he can snowball hard if not dealt with early game.
3. Tinker - 3 manta tinker anyone?? xD
4,5, and 6 would be storm gyro bat

Yea that would certainly complicate things but I've never once seen an orchid on SB in a pub and to my surprise semi-rarely see BKBs too. (As I understand it, in competitive play SB is used as a support hero right? Meaning an orchid would be great on SB with allies around.)
And thx for making the distinction between high level play and standard pub. I'm not attempting to sell you on Wyvern as a true SB counter, ONLY against your average pub SB that is very aggressive and constantly charging lone heroes. And not necessarily due to skill overlap, more just in philosophy. Wyvern preys on those that overexert themselves and can't resist some nice bait. That just goes hand in hand with a lot of the SB's you will encounter.
My advice if they went orchid/bkb would be to be a bit more wary of when he may be coming (ward like u normally should to see him coming). Be ready to act before he makes the initial bash with charge. Rush an active item that can interrupt him or save you before he gets to you like euls/orchid/dagger/sheep/lothars/etc. Wyvern has great stats and therefore is not very item dependent giving him the ability to adapt his build to whatever opponents he faces.
Still early and no items yet? I'd probably click heal before charge hits so I should at least be 100% hp coming out it and he will have charge on cd. Next he would probably orchid and proceed to wail on me, ulting as it wears off and I'm running away. We may be toast already, but if not, immediately ulti him and run for cliffs/trees using arctic burn (attack him once in a few seconds as ult wears off if u need to slow him). May not always work, sometimes the answer to SB is just strength in #'s, don't be caught alone.

There's many variables, such the skill of the player (SB and wyvern player). Your team (SB one), do they counter ward/kill it with sentry etc. Thus you don't have any vision of bara incoming or WW team check out (not only for WW but for overall allies) for the counter ward. Do bara lane a lot or he's half the time not visible/waiting fountain a lot/jungling etc... All these aspect of the player may change the reaction of the said WW player and the chance of SB killing.
You are wrong for the CD on charge, if he charge you from far enough (wich SB should always do) the cd is half way down. Then, from time you heal/orchid/nether + possible other bash, his charge CD may be complete again, wich allow him to flee back or make a second charge to kill the aimed one. You should always be able to charge out with bara. People that charge from short distance are : stupid or it's a team battle that started and you want to disturb the global fight. (Charge 'pushing' effect).
You're right, pub and high level is two thing.
EDIT : Let's not get off topics. I just wanted to argue a bit on it. One of each kind.
1. Jaki : Great nuke, tanky, annoying nuke and can easly hard push lane.
2. Shredder : Same as above, but in addition, great positionning possibilities/escape
3. Medusa : Tanky as f*ck, great nuke/dps, her ult is so godly, well played, she's prob one of the hardest carry to beat.
Re: Your top 3 heros
Favorite heroes that are also OP:
Shredder - dumb easy farm and mobility starting pretty much when u get a pres, ninja, mass aoe pure damage, tank as $*#)
Twin dragon aka THD <3 - Incredible lane control with harass stun and slow abilities, amazing starting stats and stat gain, absolutely demolishes towers, massive aoe with low cd on ult (ult also can destroy catapults i use to farm -.-
Ck - When considering the value to a team throughout a full game, ck is imo the best hero. His stun is either hit or miss at early levels, but late game the combination of images, crit, place displacer and improved stun makes him almost impossible to counter.
Items:
Shredder- roh -> pres -> boots (norm or tranqs i usually get or mana if farm is poor) -> point boost -> bloodstone -> blade mail or vang -> either bots, shivs, mek, whatever lux item u want besides dps items loll
THD - soul ring - > boots - > jang0-> bots - > either sheep scepter blademail or mek - > whatever.
Ck - soul ring and bracer - > treads - > jango - > HOD (usually unless a ton of casters then maybe diffusal) - > either bfury, sny, or occasionally bkb/mkb - > satan - > whatever

Re: Your top 3 heros
2 on three of your hero are the same as mine. Ahah x). For your THD, where is the aghanim?... I personnaly go (depend sometimes) Travel/Agha/Bloodstone as for the THREE, more you build the item, more you get stronger. I.e : BloodStone : you'll get point booster and Persv. (Mana pool/Hp + regen). Same goes for agha, you get an other point booster etc. So even if it's some 'luxury' with a good farm, in no long you get these item. It's not like you're making three wraith band and then sell it for your space. Also, you can get a wand earlier if they have some 'spam' caster.
Why? BloodStone allow you to deny your hero and as you said, THD got insane stats gain, with agha it is just awesome. BloodStone add a lot of HP/Mana pool (you die less fast and can battle longer). BS also give some regen mana/hp. Travel for the pushing, you're in a lane, if you well warded people come to you, tp the opposite and farm/push. Then go for some of these (2-3) > Heart/Linken/BKB/Sheep and get - if they doesn't have much nuke - Shivas Guard instead of Linken and BKB.
