Well I suppose the direct impact would be more focus on making people leak instead of actually winning the game
Countering one build would directly affect the entire team since he wont be able to go lumber if he leaked a lvl since the team value/earned gold would fall
With so many games going to 31 I think this would make even more games go to 31 since people wouldn't be able to go insane income early and do dd on 17 - team wouldn't get fed from your leaks and balance the team value so I think this idea would cause a slower, more boring game which might end out in lvl 31 every game because no one can send enough to end the game
On the other hand people get less income and less value after lvl 20 so game might end 26/27/28 more often
I say we try it out and see how people react to the changed setting - could also be like hybrid mode - that we can agree to do so in the game and not a "rule"
Personally I don't like it since I lack experience compared to many other lihl players so if I leak early the impact would be too powerfull lategame to give my team a fair chance - guess this goes for all players - that players who can recover good gets an advantage but this could also be an argument FOR doing it since the meaning of this league is to find the very best players

I loved your post @krumme it's just some of the thoughts that make this a VERY very tough thing to comprehend, because a lot of stuff makes it both easier to end games and a lot of stuff on the same hand makes it HARDER to end game. So it's really hard to know, if which of them pushes the game the most. I guess there is really only one way to find out, test it out.

I agree. When and why do we have sooo many rules in LIHL now? The whole point of LIHL was to play vs good players (above average) without anyone switching to merc. We had 1 SIMPLE RULE.........NO MERC SWITCHING. Now with all these rules, comes all the bitching and crying and whatnot.........

This topic was never thought as to implement a new rule, but rather to get an understanding of how GG affects the game (theorycrafting). Reason for this was because I met a guy who were really against GG-mode and he suggested to make a topic about it on the forums to see what people think about it.
