Name: Jonathan.B. aka: Party-Sheeep

Age: 17

Game moderator specialty (see below for choices): I would like ID, but I can help for ban request on LTD and dota too since I've plaged those games too before.

Brief introduction: I love playing and trolling but when it's time to be serious I know when to stop fooling around. I would really enjoy helping this community and make the time I spend on this game even more usefull. I am studying in Police Technology at J***A***** College so I am used to enforcing law which could be your rules. I am open to learn new things too so I can improve myself in field I may not totally know quite well so that at one point I might be able to help you with problems (ban request) for other subject (games) than my expertise. I have also stopped playing for 4 years and I reinstalled WC3 3 months ago and I am planning to keep on playing for a long time since I'm enjoying my time!

What are your current hours of playing time (approximate)? I come from school and I play games while being on the website and looking at some ban request and other forums, I come back from college around 5 sometimes earlyer. I play until I eat and then I play again until I go sleep around 12:00am, so it should go around; 6 hours of gaming per day. Without counting the time I check the website forum while im in school waiting for the next class. Which I would say does the job for the days that I do something with my friend. On week-ends I play more often and longer because I have nothing to do unless I have homeworks due, and sunday's I go to some family diners.
In the end it should be around 6 hours a day.

What is your current time zone? America/New York but I live in Canada, Quebec, Montreal. To be precise but I wont get more in details than this for confidentialy purpose.

Describe any relevant experience, both in moderating and in Warcraft III: I have been a moderator for a clan bot. I had my clan then went for being shammy in the clan that had the bot. I left my clan and merged into another clan which happened to have a bot and since I was the leader, the other clan leader made me shammy and kept me as shammy if I was correct and good. We merged the clans because ours had many people and the guy had a small clan but he had some bots so we came up to this conclusion to merge. I can't remember the name of this clan we made because it was 4 years ago and many things has happened since and I don't remember it. Sadly, If I get in touch with old people I use to play with I could get you the name!

Why do you want to become a game moderator? I want to become a Moderator because I want to help the community I'm being active in so that it can be even better. I also dislike to see people being annoying and not respecting the rules, so being a mod would allow me to do something on the go, and save games. Since I'm very active I want to reduce the time taken for ban request to be viewed.

What will you bring to the ENT/Warcraft III community? I will bring the enforcement of your rules in games as much as on the website! I will help people like I have been doing to learn and to play fairly in games. I will be very active on both the website and the game. Like you can see I connected my email to this website so if I get message I can see it from my phone and get on as soon as I can to help with anything. Easy help to reich. I will also bring my jokes with me, because I like to fool around and not always be the strict and meany guy! I like to see people laugh and have fun so I'll try my best to amuse people!

Closing Statement: I am very nervous regarding this application since I have only 30 post and I am done my 2 weeks activity in the website, so I know I don't impress you guys with that. I had time to talk with some of the mod and admin so you know me somewhat, unfortunately I didn't get on the very nice side with everyone but I hope I can get to know all of you guys very well and bring you help and to have fun. I have also been banned twice and I don't deny it... I didn't know the rules and I didn't know about this forum/enterprise so when I saw this website I was impressed and I wanted to take part into it as soon as I saw it. I hope you guys will not be too arsh!

I am looking forward to hear from you guys.

Yes, currently I am not satisfied with this application for a few reasons.

1) You just finished your two week probation.
2) Many of your posts are just comments on some ban requests/appeals that some honestly do have no merit.
3) Due too number 2 you lack a decent amount of post count as well.
4) I suggest right now as we leave this application open that you get some of your OWN ban requests.

Lastly to elaborate on #4 if you see an active forum member that posts ban requests, i.e TNFU and TimmyTheFatAssTauren then privately request from them if you may post the ban request. Remember as well activity is a main key on the forums is a big part, not gaming.

I believe I have about 2 ban request of my own... I made my best to give my opinion for each ban request. I will stay active and improve myself...! You should even see a change by the end of the day! Thank you for your support and leaving this application open... I will do my best to please the demands.

Thank you!

These are the topics you made in the support sub-forum that I found using this search tool.

Denied ban request: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=17957&p=83876#p83876
Ban appeal: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=17216&p=80538#p80538

I feel you need more ban requests to decorate your staff application.

Just stay active and whenever you see a request you can give an opinion or a time for mhers in some way or shape do it. My first application was rejected because I was raging too hard but for the second application I actually spent like a whole 2 weeks post fog clicks, advice where needed, etc. Good luck.

Thanks, I think I'll need luck xD very nervous thanks again! So many feedback; trying my best guys but theres always place for improvment! @I3omb

Burn I know I'm doing all I can to get post and to get some ban request but when people know you're looking for that they are more carefull and can't ban someone that has done nothing ;)!! Thank you for your feedback! @Burn

Yeah, fog click detection is a surefire way to make sure you fully contribute to a ban request.

Don't be nervous party :). Everything come to people that works hard for it and that put time in it. If you really deserve that place, you'll have it, don't worry. Do not give up if you get refused the first time you apply. Keep being helpfull in BRQ and appeal. Be a bit around the forum (get known from the communities a bit) etc.

Wish you best of all luck. From now I'm staying neutral. Even if my vote doesn't change a sh*t. I am still telling you my position over your application. Has an ex-staff, it might give you an idea of others view too. Try to find out what is missing.

Now, I want you to answer to this :
1. what would you do if someone start to CAPS LOCK FLAME YOU? But not only that, he start to all chat and FLAME all the game.
2. You're playing a LTD or ID (not sure for ID). You catch multiple fog-click of a user (allowed in LTD). What will you do knowing someone is hacking?

1. I would warn him 2 time to stop flaming the chat. At the 3rd time I would mute him from the game. This is if he flames on everyone. If he flames on me only I would ignore him. If he starts to tk in game to get attention and all well then it becomes a bannable act. Even flaming is bannable but I'm not too picky on it! Although people can ban request him, which I would see other mod views.

2. I do play ID a lot xD!... If I catch someone maphacking I would make a ban request that would be meat to other mods to confirm the fog clicks so I would be reassured that he was worthy for a year ban since he used a maphack! If I know that someone is maphacking I would go right away to confirm the fact and get a second and third view on the case.

You've got my support.

But you don't have ban requests please bump-up up some brq and appeal and then good luck.

Edit: Admins I did not want to act like admin. Sorry, for that won't happen anymore.

You got my support. I have seen you play. You never have bias and are 100% fair. I would not have a problem with you being a MOD.

I believe that a little more time spent with the community and working on Ban Request would be beneficial towards your application. I think a little more time would help.

I'm going to say no for now. Keep up activity in Ban Requests, but make sure you are certain of your opinions when you make a Ban Request/comment on existing ones. Organize your thoughts, write them out, and argue your point as to why you believe the way you do. If you do this, you will be well on your way towards making a good Mod candidate. However at this point, I do not believe you are quite ready.

You may reapply after two weeks if you believe your application has improved and would still like to join our staff team.

As always, we appreciate all applicants and appreciate the work done to make it to staff.
