Wrongful Autoban for leaves

I really believe that the auto ban for leaving is way too harsh to ban innocent players and if it isn't too harsh then isn't there something to prevent players that d/c from not getting banned ?

I have been banned two times now for two games that I didn't even leave. The first time My neighborhood lost power and I was auto banned for a few hours, I tried submitting a ban appeal but a mod only answered after the Ban already expired out so essentially I got punished for a few hours for d/cing something that I could not control. The seccond time I got auto banned after my wc3 / garena crashed and now I am banned for 1 whole day unless I submit a appeal which would most likely still be half of that time when I never intended to leave.

Can't there be some system implemented to prevent banning innocent players that didn't actually leave ?

there's no way the autoban bot can recognize rage quit (plug pulling or w/e). the outcome for other players in game is the same anyway, they have -1 player, so basically there's no difference is you left on purpose or not. if your net d/c's too much, or computer rebooting, it's the same as leaving

I know its the same result for the people in game, but correct me if I am wrong. The purpouse of the auto ban is to punish players who have the intention to leave early and not the innocent players that left caused by something that was not under their control like a lag out.

if, let's say, my stay rate is high, and i got power shutdown, most likely the autoban system will ban me for maximum 30 mins. usually it's 1 min for a rare d/c

that's why encourage people to play on their mains and raise their stay rate.

You can use gproxy or econnect to solve dcs. I do not see a problem in doing it since alot of people here can help you with configurating it to get it work.

Also using alts with low amount of games can get you banned quite fast, use your main account and you will be fine.

About complete computer crashes.. well, fix your computer then.
About wc3 crashes (no idea about garena i barely used it): Unless its a map-bug (like castle fight thingy) you can usually avoid it by a) not using any third-party tools like manabars which some ppl might do, and b) by running wc3 as administrator.
I didnt have a fatal error since months.

Autoban system cannot see if people have to leave for irl stuff or are leaving because they rq or something.
